GOOD SAMARITAN 5K Health WALK/RUN is a 5.9 kilometre (3.7 mile) run/walk event to promote health and wellness, while raising funds for the Good Samaritan centre for the homeless at Heroes Circle, Kingston, Jamaica. Organized by the Health Ministries Department of the Andrews Memorial S.D.A. Church, the 3rd annual event will be on Sunday, August 31, 2014 @ 6:30 a.m., followed by a Grand Health Fair from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on the church grounds, and the launch of the Complete Health and Wellness Series every Sun, Tues and Wed at 7 p.m., Sat 8 a.m., 11 a.m. & 4 p.m. during September.

Elder Nigel Coke Speaks On Flexi Week
Elder Nigel Coke, Communication, Public Affairs and Religious Liberty Director - JAMU, will be one of the guests on the TVJ program 'All Angles' on Sunday March 30, 2014 at 9:00 pm where the Flexible Work Week Arrangement will be discussed.
Elder Coke will represent the Seventh-day Adventist Church on this program.
The program, which would normally be carried live, was recorded in studio on Wednesday March 26, 2014 at 8:30 pm and gave way to the live transmission of the annual Issa/ Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Athletics Championships at the National Stadium.
Since the issues surrounding the Flexi Week Arrangement are of great importance to Seventh-day Adventists, it would be in your best interest to watch this edition of 'All Angles' where possible. -
